Mumbai...The City that Never Sleeps!

So, the city is known for tough strugglers, right?
Coming here to make it big...Here's the tough car that you own once you have made it big here...in the city of dreams....HUMMER...humming success all the way....

At Bandstand, where everybody enjoys Bird Watching...So I Asked them.. Pussy Cat , Pussy Cat, Where Have You Been? and , they purred coyly, and replied.... "I had been to the Bandra to meet the Suburb Queen ! :P :P

The Roads in Monsoon creating the Mirror Image !

Reminds me of the 26th July horror!

Rajiv Gandhi Setu... Oh My God..No it's not the replica of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link..it's just the official name of it! :P

The breather.... The Best BillBoard in the city... Take a look at it... sure to relieve you...of all the tensions!

The Scariest Sight you will come across in the City....just as you enter the brick and mortar street after the Marine Lines drive!
My eyes fell on this mannequin and I almost fainted thinking it was some ghastly figure!

On a Vanishing Trail !

THIS SECTION IS FOR ALL THOSE MANIACS WHO HAVE FIRMLY PLACED THEIR VIOLENT FINGERS ON THE TRIGGERS AND ARE ALL SET TO SHOOT THE BULLETS OF DEFORESTATION AND URBANISATION....
Are you people never going to miss the greenery?
So, why do you need to end them? Or have you found some magic trick to invent trees too?

GREENERY IN THE HEART OF MUMBAI......surviving a day at a time...on the edge!

Filtering the Sunlight !!

The Air, The Water and The Soil !

The mesmerisingly lush green cover of the land...disappearing bit by bit with every passing moment. Doesn't the shot render our decision of felling of trees to fulfil our urban dream, ridiculous? It does for me.

As I look into the sand, it all comes back to me....
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's words,
"Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
  And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time; "

Nobody could have summed up this snap as meticulously as W.H. Auden...,
"The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good."

The Boat Ride at Nainital is simply not worth missing....not for the peace of mind that it gifts you but as you row the boat, gently... you do not need to even make an attempt to listen to the ELEMENT OF NATURE calling out to you... Water...in it's purest form....talking to you... It's sheer bliss !

SUNRISE, defined by millions of people in millions of ways...but, for me...it's simply the lovely beginning of yet another busy day..which comes to you...with umpteen RAYS...of Hope...Treasure them !

Dance 'Folio'

Snapshots from a Very Special Photoshoot I conducted for my close friend, Glen Saldanha for his very first professional venture.

All My Prayers with you....May you find success at every step you put forth !

Reel for the Words!

A 'TRI'LOGY in the true sense!
Satyajit Ray's glorious screen adaptation of the legendary writer, Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay's novel, 'Pather Panchali'- The Song of the Road remarkably stays as the one of its kind movie.
The first part of The Apu Trilogy! Truly Worth the Oscar !

Love is all that is there wrapped up in those Hardcovers and Love is all that you can feel around the Eiffel!
Certainly,  I FEEL IT IN MY FINGERS, I FEEL IT IN MY TOES,
LOVE IS ALL AROUND ME, AND SO THE FEELING GROWS..

A Walk to Remember...is it?
Most definitely...All you need is Love..... Love is all you need....that's the most basic desire of all !
