The mesmerisingly lush green cover of the land...disappearing bit by bit with every passing moment. Doesn't the shot render our decision of felling of trees to fulfil our urban dream, ridiculous? It does for me.
As I look into the sand, it all comes back to me....
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's words,
"Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time; "
Nobody could have summed up this snap as meticulously as W.H. Auden...,
"The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good."
The Boat Ride at Nainital is simply not worth missing....not for the peace of mind that it gifts you but as you row the boat, gently... you do not need to even make an attempt to listen to the ELEMENT OF NATURE calling out to you... Water...in it's purest form....talking to you... It's sheer bliss !
SUNRISE, defined by millions of people in millions of ways...but, for me...it's simply the lovely beginning of yet another busy day..which comes to you...with umpteen RAYS...of Hope...Treasure them !
the third one is breath taking...with the perfectly apt caption...
